About Launcelot Primary School
We create a partnership with home and the wider community based upon trust and respect. Launcelot is a community school in the heart of Downham and these growing partnerships with the community are an important foundation to the school.
Launcelot is a two-form entry school, providing education for children from 3 to 11 years old. Our nursery offers either a morning or afternoon place for children from 3 to 5 years old.
We promote an ethos in which all are valued and relationships are based on respect, honesty and trust.
We make learning enjoyable and challenging
We strive to ensure that all children achieve at the highest level and work hard to ensure there is consistently a good quality of teaching delivered throughout the school. Our curriculum is broad, balanced and meaningful, which encourages and challenges the children to be active, creative, independent and self-critical learners, unafraid of making mistakes.
We ensure children, staff, parents and governors work together to actively promote and develop our shared vision.
We are committed to helping each child at Launcelot Primary School reach their full potential by introducing them to a wide variety of learning experiences in a happy school community where everyone can be inspired.
